Welcome to KaloCam, a nutrition tracking application provided by FUNCONNECT PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KaloCam mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

The Service allows you to track meals, photograph food for AI-powered nutritional analysis, set health goals, and interact with an AI dietary coach. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:
The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models and related AI infrastructure, which may include Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, to analyze food photos, transcribe voice input, estimate nutritional values, and provide dietary suggestions. You acknowledge and agree that:
The Service is designed for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and all other content, is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as food photos). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for all content you submit through the Service, including food photos, chat messages, and profile information. You represent that you have the right to share such content and that it does not violate any third party's rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
KaloCam may offer optional paid features through KaloCam Pro, an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple in-app purchase. The subscription products, service content, price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation method are displayed before purchase on the subscription page and in the related Subscription Agreement and Auto-Renewal Agreement. No subscription charge is made unless you confirm the purchase through Apple.
You may delete your account at any time through the Profile settings in the app. Upon account deletion, we will permanently delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, health, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, providing notice through the app. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
